The Valley Caregiver Resource Center (VCRC) offers a unique and comprehensive range of services designed to assist older adults and their families in navigating the challenges that come with aging. As long-standing advocates for the health and quality of life of others, VCRC aims to promote both personal and community well-being through its support programs and resources.
The VCRC system helps families and communities address the challenges of caring for adults with brain impairing conditions, such as Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and traumatic brain injury. To be eligible for services, clients must be caring for an adult with a cognitive impairing condition that occurred after the age of 18, or for someone 60 years and older in need of assistance with daily living activities. VCRC also provides services for those caring for individuals aged 60 and older through the Family Caregiver Support Program, available in various counties where the organization operates.
