Somerset House provides exceptional care with its licensed nurses staffed around the clock. These professionals work closely with the families and healthcare providers to devise care plans for each resident. Somerset also works closely with local skilled nursing agencies to help with those rare occasions when a resident’s need grows beyond the capabilities of an assisted living residence. Local hospitals and many of Indian River’s finest healthcare professionals are only a short distance away.

Somerset stands strong behind the belief of promoting the resident’s independence for as long as their health permits, but understands that their residents may require further assistance as they age in place. To better suit the growing needs of the residents, Somerset House maintains the Extended Congregate Care License (ECC). This ensures that residents are able to age gracefully with proper care in their private suites. Some of the services included but are not limited to Oxygen Management, Wound Care, Catheter Care, and Total Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
