The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging provides a wide range of services to support older adults and individuals with disabilities. These services include home-delivered meals, senior centers, wellness programs, homemaker assistance, Medicaid waiver services, nursing home transition, Medicare counseling, and caregiver respite. The agency also offers options counseling, case management, and support groups for grandparents raising grandchildren.
In addition to direct services, the agency provides free assessments, as well as information and referral services, to help individuals access the resources they need. By promoting independence and enhancing the well-being of seniors and caregivers, the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging plays a vital role in supporting the aging population throughout the region.
