“Newman Regional Health operates as a not-for-profit critical access hospital boasting 25 beds, owned by the citizens of Lyon County, Kansas. In collaboration with its medical staff, Newman Regional Health consistently surpasses state and national benchmarks for clinical excellence and patient safety, setting a high standard for healthcare delivery. Distinguishing itself further, Newman Regional Health is home to Kansas’s sole PCI-accredited Cardiovascular Lab, offering both emergent and non-emergent percutaneous coronary intervention procedures.

The hospital’s 10-bed acute inpatient medical rehabilitation unit provides patients with the opportunity to recover from serious illness, injury, or debility in a familiar setting close to home. Notably, this unit features a simulated living suite tailored for occupational therapy, making it the sole program of its kind housed within a critical access hospital in Kansas.”
