Spread across a sprawling 78-acre campus, Larned State Hospital (LSH) stands as the largest psychiatric facility in the state, catering to the western two-thirds of Kansas. With a workforce of nearly 1,000 employees, LSH possesses the capacity to provide round-the-clock care to over 450 patients daily. Accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, LSH operates as a crucial safety net for mental health services in Kansas.
