EASTERN NEBRASKA OFFICE ON AGING

The Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging(ENOA) provides limited,in-home support services to individuals 60 years and older who live in the 5-county service area (Douglas, Dodge, Cass, Washington, Sarpy), with the goal being that the person can live independently in their own home for as long as possible. To qualify for services an individual must need assistance with three or more daily activities and must need this help for 90 days or longer. Individuals are asked to contribute to the cost of the services on a sliding scale rate, based on their monthly income. ENOA also sponsors senior centers throughout the five-county area that serve as resource centers in neighborhoods and rural communities. Each center hosts a variety of recreational, social, and educational programs, in addition to a hot midday meal (reservations required).
