Welcome to the Department of Aging and Disability Services. The department is committed to delivering aging and disability services that are responsive to the needs of Connecticut citizens. It provides leadership on aging and disability issues statewide, ensuring that resources and support are accessible to individuals across the state.
In addition, the department offers and coordinates a range of programs and services that address employment, education, independent living, accessibility, and advocacy for individuals with disabilities and older adults. As advocates for the rights of Connecticut residents, the department works to ensure that the needs of these communities are met while serving as a vital resource on aging and disability issues at the state level. Through these efforts, the department aims to enhance the quality of life for all individuals, regardless of age or ability.
