ADVENTHEALTH SOUTH OVERLAND PARK

AdventHealth Ottawa operates a 44-bed hospital, originally founded by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, dedicated to extending a ministry of healing and health to its community. Serving both inpatients and outpatients, the hospital experiences a high volume of patient admissions. Meanwhile, AdventHealth South Overland Park has expanded its services, initiating bariatric surgery in collaboration with KC Bariatric. In 2023, the hospital introduced robotic surgery for knee replacement, enabling faster patient recovery. Additionally, it became the first facility in Johnson County to offer Aquablation therapy for patients with enlarged prostates. Furthermore, the hospital has commenced minimally invasive spine surgery procedures.
