EPRISMA HEALTH SENIORCARE PACE - UPSTATE

Prisma Health (formerly Greenville Health System) enlisted the expertise of our firm to design the inaugural Program of All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) senior care center in the Upstate region of South Carolina. Guided by PACE’s overarching mission to address the escalating chronic care demands of seniors, our design team embarked on creating a facility tailored to extend participants’ ability to reside safely within their communities, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

Completed in November 2016, the 20,000-square-foot facility, a new construction endeavor, is meticulously crafted to facilitate the seamless delivery of comprehensive medical and supportive services, thereby establishing a holistic continuum of care for each participant. Notable features of the center include a fully equipped administrative suite, a catering kitchen, and an onsite clinic staffed with dedicated physicians. Additionally, a dedicated physical therapy suite offers participants tailored therapy sessions focused on enhancing daily living activities, complete with a kitchen and bathroom to promote skill development and safety in home environments. To ensure optimal medication management, the center also houses a medication dispensary, ensuring enrollees have ready access to all necessary medications both onsite and at home.
