The City and County of Honolulu Elderly Affairs Division, through its Senior Helpline, provides a comprehensive range of services to seniors and caregivers. These services include case management, personal care, and other forms of assistance for frail, homebound elders. The division also offers home-delivered and congregate meals, housing and legal support, transportation, caregiver respite, and caregiver support programs.
Additionally, the division promotes health and wellness through health promotion activities and senior centers, while offering telephone consultation and information referral services. For frail and homebound elders, assessments are conducted to ensure access to the appropriate services and support. Through these efforts, the Elderly Affairs Division plays a crucial role in enhancing the well-being and independence of seniors and their caregivers in Honolulu.
