The Area Office on Aging partnered with the Toledo Design Collective to create a conceptual improvement plan for the Lakewoods Campus. Located in the Glendale-Heatherdowns neighborhood, Lakewoods is a 46-acre campus where over 1,700 older adults, veterans, employees, and guests live, work, and play.. The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc. AOoA develops and implements a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system for older adults residing in Northwestern Ohio. The AOoA develops programs and services for local senior citizens.
